An undiscovered Treasure at Athirappilly — FarmKamp
The ride through ghat roads from Valparai to Chalakkudy in the lush green forests took us to the Niagra of India, i.e our Athirappally waterfalls.

Chakkudi — Pollachi road
The route from Pollachi to Athirappally passes through beautiful rain forests and scenic winding roads besides the Chalakkudy river.

The pleasant weather and chilled streams made us crazy, The majestic feeling of the water gushing down, tearing and splashing through gaint rocks gave us instant goosebumps.
After getting socked in streams for long. We were tired and very hungry.
Our Search for food ended up at Farmkamp.

Farmkamp — Athirappally
Farm camp follows the concept of camping in farms for optimising the farm resources towards farm tourism.
We didn’t ask for a menu card rather just ordered whatever is ready to eat, We had meals with 10 + side dishes and fish fry. It was Yummy.
In farm camp There are two big halls for dinning ,with natures own Air conditioning system, The green Trees.

After having food, we had a walk around farm camp premises, it was really amazing to see a bamboo hut that is under construction. The view from the river bank was refreshing .

We could find a well maintained pond where the fish is grown. visitors have an option for angling. Where we can Catch fresh fish from their farm, and the chef will fry it for us.
Finally we could also find a recreational area which is apt for conducting functions more than that there is a small fun park for kids too.
Farmkamp also provides stay options with well maintained rooms and amenities .
